Futurmoda (the international trade fair for the leather, components and machinery in the footwear and leather goods sectors) continues to welcome exhibitors booking stands for the coming edition to be held in Hall II, IFA (Institución Ferial Alicantina) on October 16th and 17th. The fair is expected to extend over the total 13,000 sq. mt. of Hall II in IFA. Tanning and textile companies will take up 50% of the area while 41% will correspond to components, soles, ornaments, packaging and chemicals. Machinery companies, with a share of 9%, will reveal their segment has grown by 20% in comparison to the past edition, as they are taking up about 2,500 sq. mt. with a higher number of exhibitors and extending over a larger area than in October 2019. This means that machinery will be gaining relevance when compared to other exhibiting segments, and there will be a specific place for technologic novelties, so planners had to set a limit to growth in other segments and displace or move some stands and common areas.
During the past edition of Futurmoda there were more than 300 exhibitors representing over 410 companies in the following segments: components, leather, fabrics, soles, lasts, heels, ornaments, pre-manufactured items, sheets, embossing, chemicals, packaging and technology, among others. And for this coming edition of Futurmoda, companies represent a number of origins: Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Brazil, Turkey, and China.
As is already usual, the Green Planet zone will be the space dedicated to eco-friendly products. Also, the fashion trends space will be the place for the directory of products by all exhibiting companies.
