About 20 years ago, a whole generation of young people adopted an original model by Skechers that had fascinated Pop stars. In the 1990s, the “chunky shoes” phenomenon emerged as a fashion trend that – as opposed to so many others – never faded.
After so many years leading trends among many Asian young women, these “ugly sneakers” are now back in the streets of Europe. Two decades later, they are once again conquering those teens of the ‘90s and the new generation of fashion fans who relate to new, updated, improved versions of those original sneakers.
So, the successful D’Lites are back, stronger than ever, and Skechers now presents the new evolution for boys and girls because they have attained the impossible goal of leading innovation and breaking away with classic standards, and this for two decades! Their success involves a number of improvements and changes: new materials, lighter soles that continue to be sturdy, and a new colour palette, always adapted to what is new. The preferences of young people for the next 20 years mark every stage in their evolution.
This latest turn of the screw of that original phenomenon by Skechers of a time when we used to charge our mobile phones once a week results in the new D’Lites 3.0, now in every store and street, self-assured because they are genuine and have conquered young people around the world for two decades.
Skechers D’Lites 3.0 x One Piece

The D’Lites 3.0 x One Piece collection will comprise seven new 3.0 models inspired in popular characters (the iconic Monkey D. Luffy and Trafalgar Law, along with Blackbeard, Whitebeard, Jimbei, Marco and Boa Hancock) who will reflect their colours and respective Jolly Rogers in the new Skecher models for men and women.
