Privata’s sensitivity towards our environment and the responsible use of natural resources is part of the company’s DNA ever since it was founded in 1925. The company’s first steps were pragmatic: the founders decided they would make the first clothing items with recycled wool, using the material of clothes that were too worn, or old. This decision represented the beginning of a pioneering process at the time, and recycled textiles continue to be the materials used by this legendary brand.
The best demonstration of the company’s environmental awareness are the new collections of sweaters made from recycled wool, and created in Spain. Every detail faithfully reproduces the colours and genuine patterns for which the brand is known. Natural and neutral shades, mainly gray, blue, navy blue and beige, lend life to the attractive sweaters, jackets and sweatshirts that stand out for their versatility and sober elegance. Recycled materials are also used to make gloves.
Privata’s products carry the eco-friendly label and seal, certifying that materials used to make them has been obtained by recycling plastic bottles, while the collection of scarves is amazing as print patterns reproduce some of the most famous paintings by Vincent van Gogh, Gustav Klimt, and Claude Monet.
Privata Mujer proposes purses for women, designed to combine functionality, design, and quality. The collection also comprises backpacks, fanny packs, and convertible purses.
In this respect, purses come in an attractive variety of metalized, glossy shades, with silver and silicon details, and the colours are mostly soft like forests green, burgundy and navy blue, though there are also daring shades like olive green.
For men, Privata has also carefully and especially designed the Nappa Top line that includes a backpack, a vertical ID case, and three messenger bag models in nappa-finish treated leather.
